I am Amar and I am  currently doing my Master’s in Computer Science in Virginia Tech.

My present area of research is operating systems specifically the browser as an OS. I am presently working on a project “Towards a Robust Browser for Web2.0 application” in the Computer Systems Research Lab, Department of Computer Science at VT. I am working as a GRA for Dr.Godmar Back for the same project.

Before joining VT I was working in Merrill Lynch India as an Associate Consultant and involved in development of Market Access Gateways for eCBOT, SWX, VIRTX and LIFFE. I also had short stint in IBM India as a Software Engineer.

I have completed my undergrad in Computer Science and Engineering from  National Institute of Technology , Warangal, India in 2005.
